The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday summoned Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader and West Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee in connection with the alleged I-Core ponzi scam.
Partha Chatterjee has been asked to appear before the agency’s CGO Complex office in Kolkata on September 13, sources said.
Partha Chatterjee was allegedly seen in some of the public functions arranged by the now-defunct I-Core firm which was charged with duping investors by offering them abnormally high returns on investments.
The CBI had earlier summoned Partha Chatterjee in March this year and recorded his statements.
