Intoxicated Baby Sitter, Youth Vandal: Elmhurst Cops


ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police handled cases involving an uncooperative baby sitter, a youth vandal, fraudulent business checks, a locker room theft and a suspicious man, among others. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:

Uncooperative baby sitter

  • A baby sitter and two youths were riding scooters about 1 a.m. Sunday at Walnut and Grantley. The adult refused to provide any information to police, was uncooperative, and appeared to be intoxicated. The youths were returned home and placed in the care of a responsible adult. The state Department of Children and Family Services was notified.
