Tiny Township is offering four free workshops for adults over 55 in partnership with Gateway Centre for Learning.
Covering a variety of topics, the workshops are being hosted at the Wyebridge Community Centre and run on consecutive Tuesdays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
While the first workshop offered as part of the townshipâs Coffee and Connect program that focused on accessibility has already occurred, next Tuesdayâs session looks at social media.
This workshop will introduce participants to a selection of social-media platforms and explain how they can be used to share information, ideas, interests and other forms of expression.
âKnowing how to use social media to stay in touch with friends and family, promote your cause or keep up with the news is an essential skill,â the township noted in a release.
