If you’re craving a starchy vegetable with more sweetness than a potato, look no further than the turnip. If you don’t turn up for turnips, are you really living your best life?
Most varieties of tender turnips can be eaten skin-on and store incredibly well. You can make them the star of your dinner plate with a side salad and some good bread, or use them as a side dish with roasted meat. If you make a hearty vegetable soup, add some turnips cut into cubes.
